Problems with Excessive Use of Social Media

Excessive uses of social media and digital media stimulate the mind and body to stay awake, leading to sleep deprivation. Sleep deprivation results in poor performance in life, difficulties in school, depression, anxiety, suicidal ideation, health problems, and many more problems. We recommend less than 2 hours of digital entertainment per day and getting at least 8 hours of sleep for teenagers. Daily exercise is also critical to maintaining good health.
